Funding for Ontario colleges, universities and other post-secondary schools is under-going change. Following the introduction of grants to cover some or all of tuition costs for families earning less than $83,000, the Liberal Party of Ontario is extending the 3-percent tuition increase cap for another two years. This is good news because the average tuition cost, including compulsory fees, in Ontario was $7,800* for the academic year 2014-2015 – one of the highest in Canada.
